Seedlings

Seedling Donations

We are preparing for our seedling donation programme, which will run from spring through to autumn.

Seedlings will be available on site on Fridays, during the Food Club.

If you are a school, community group, or organisation and would like to receive batches of seedlings to act as a local pick-up point in your area, please email:

Growing on Site

We are also getting ready for the growing season on site.
Freshly grown fruit and vegetables will be donated when ready, throughout the year.

Even if you don’t volunteer on site at Incredible Edible Knowsley, you may still wish to grow fresh fruit and veg on your own: this is, of course, a part of our goal as an organisation. We strive not only to grow ourselves, but to teach others how they may begin to approach horticulture and get the most out of their experience doing so. Even if you’re an experienced gardener or horticulturalist, we hope to be able to give information on how to cultivate many different types of fresh fruit and vegetables. We have prepared a few information sheets for a range of seedlings which you may use to guide the planting and maintenance of your crop. And, if you’re confused as to any terms you see on these sheets, you can always either visit our glossary page, or reach out to us, online or in person, for some personalised growing advice.
